The Se7en titles set the deep, myserteous and frightening tone straight away and the audience know that from the titles alone. They have a creepy eerie tone to them with the bold white colour used that seems so straightforward but is used to an amazing effect. The main title is slightly different to the others being in capital letters to make it stand out more above the rest.
These titles are written slightly differently and appear more to be handwritten this also has a creepy effect with the imperfect letters that appear as though someone has written them down in a rush. This ties in with someone writing down details off an investigation which is exactly what this film is all about. The text also stands out amongst the black backgrounds because of the contrast in colours used, black and white.
